ULA Honors Seven Key Suppliers with Supplier of the Year Awards at Annual Supplier Summit

ULA Names Maverick Aerospace, LLC, as 2025 Supplier of the Year

 Orlando, Fla., Oct. 9, 2025 – United Launch Alliance (ULA) recently honored seven suppliers with 2025 Supplier of the Year Awards for their dedicated support across ULA’s product lines. Strategic supplier partnerships remain paramount as ULA continues to increase its launch rate for the innovative new Vulcan rocket to support Amazon’s Kuiper missions as well as our critical missions for the Space Force, NRO and NASA.

  • ULA Supplier of the Year + Extra Mile Supplier of the Year – Maverick Aerospace, LLC

Located in City of Industry, Calif., Maverick Aerospace, LLC is a small business recognized for its tremendous impact and technical excellence in support of complex launch site upgrades including the fabrication of components used in the transportation, integration and launch of Vulcan from Space Launch Complex-41 (SLC-41) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida, and Space Launch Complex-3 (SLC-3) at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

  • Enterprise Operations Supplier of the Year – Systima, Division of Karman Space and Defense

Located in Mukilteo, Wa., Systima was recognized for the outstanding job supporting ULA’s reuse development program and consistently looking for ways to improve quality, schedule and cost while proactively finding solutions.

  • Complex Components Supplier of the Year – Major Tool and Machine Inc.

Located in Indianapolis, In., Major Tool and Machine (MT&M) is recognized for continually improving their delivery schedule to support increased production rates. Additionally, they proactively identify and resolve any issues that might arise to ensure they can meet ULA demand.

  • Small Business Supplier of the Year – KAP Manufacturing, Inc.

KAP Manufacturing Inc., is located in San Dimas, Calif., and is a small business. They are recognized for their profound dedication to ULA by achieving on-time delivery of critical flight hardware to support ULA launch success and their exceptional commitment to customer and engineering support.

  • Production Operations Supplier of the Year – M&J Precision

M&J Precision is located in Decatur, Ala., and is a small business that provides machined parts for all ULA sites. M&J is the only supplier across the ULA supply base to receive four consecutive Supplier of the Year Awards in multiple categories. They are consistently recognized for taking on every challenge with creativity and collaboration and going above and beyond to meet critical deadlines.

  • Launch Operations Supplier of the Year – Diani Building Corporation

Located in Santa Maria, Calif., Diani Building Corporation is a small business that has worked diligently on value engineering to significantly reduce overall costs for the complete replacement of the existing environmental control systems at the Vulcan launch pad at Space Launch Complex-3 in Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. They consistently demonstrate focus on communication and flexibility to support West Coast launch operations.

  • Government Operations Supplier of the Year – AMI Metals Inc.

AMI Metals Inc. is located in Brentwood, Tenn., and is recognized for consistently demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment in their Government Affairs engagement, and for effectively building and maintaining meaningful relationships with both state-elected officials and members of Congress.
